Virtual CIO™ (vCIO)
A Virtual CIO (vCIO) serves as an organization’s retained “on demand” Chief Information Officer with all the expertise and value of a technology advisor without the cost of an in-house CIO.
A vCIO is generally contracted or retained if a client has limited IT staff, cannot budget for a fully CIO role, or requires additional support for its existing IT team. The main difference between the vCIO function and other technical advisory services is that the vCIO takes a broader, strategic view of the client, focusing on business and IT alignment, and digital transformation.
The vCIO collaborates with and advises the client’s C-suite, ownership, and IT departments and performs the same functions as a conventional CIO. Those duties include formulating strategic IT goals, planning the IT budget, analyzing and reworking business processes, and facilitating technology changes.
Digital Armor’s vCIO service brings C-level experience as a trusted advisor to formulate your cyber strategy, guide risk assessments, identify and implement solutions, and provide security and compliance expertise to sustain a proactive cyber defense, protecting your business from evolving threats and ensure compliance with state and federal cyber regulations.
The Digital Armor vCIO supports you from the boardroom to the server room.
